The new IN2AI trade show is to focus on the key future topic of industrial AI applications and research, and anyone with an interest now has an opportunity to familiarise themselves with one of the show's key topics ahead of time as the 19th ERP System of the Year award will be presented this year as part of IN2AI in collaboration with Berlin-based publishing house GITO Verlag. Viewers will be able to follow the finalists' digital pitches live online next week – from 13:00 hrs on Tuesday 23 and Thursday 25 July – and can then vote for their favourite.

Dortmund, 19 July 2024 – The ERP System of the Year competition is Europe's foremost ERP award. Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems are key enablers for digital transformation and go hand in hand with digitalisation to make ERP integration one of the central pillars on which successful digital transformation is based. In particular, the award recognises products that help users take the right steps towards digital transformation and exploit valuable potential. This topic is a perfect fit with the programme accompanying the new trade show for artificial intelligence in industrial and logistics environments.

Choose your favourite and benefit twice over

The digital pitches by competition finalists will be held next Tuesday and Thursday starting at 13:00 hrs respectively. Anyone with an interest will be able to follow the pitches live online simply by registering here, and after the pitches all viewers will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite. Voters will receive a complimentary ticket for the award ceremony at IN2AI plus a free annual subscription to the trade journal ERP Management. The award ceremony as part of the ERP System of the Year competition will then be held on the first day of IN2AI (4 September).

The competition is being organised by the University of Potsdam Center for Enterprise Research in collaboration with Berlin-based publishing house GITO-Verlag which publishes ERP Management, one of the leading media resources for finding one's way on the ERP market.

To qualify for the digital pitches and reach the final, the participants have had to receive the required number of points for their application documents and be one of the top three participants in their respective category. The 2024 awards will be presented in categories including Wholesale, Mail Order, Services, High-Variant Manufacturing, Consulting, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud and Sustainability. The panel of judges is made up of digital specialists and industry experts including journalists, consultants, users and academics.
